A certified translation is an official translation provided on the company letterhead/template. It comes with a signed statement attesting that the translation is a true, complete, and accurate representation of the original document.
The certified translation must meet the following criteria:
- A copy of the original document attached to the translation.
- The translation provided on the letterhead of the translation agency which contains their contact details.
- A certificate of translation accuracy be included.
- Each translated page must be signed, stamped and dated.
A certified translation includes a signed statement from the translator or translation agency attesting to the translation’s accuracy and completeness.
A notarized translation adds a notary public’s verification of the signer’s identity. The notary witnesses the signature but does not guarantee the translation’s accuracy. The notarized document also bears the notary’s official seal.
Typically, the turnaround time for your order would depend on the total page count and language pair involved. Our standard turnaround starts at 24 hours for orders up to 4 pages (for some languages). Rush translation requests can reduce the turnaround to 12 hours or less, based on the customer’s request.
Writeliff charges $20 per page (up to 250 words per page) for most languages. If your document has dense text, complex formatting, or uses a less common language, we’ll confirm the price before you place your order.
